Research Interests
- XML Data Management
- Distributed Systems & P2P
- Information retrieval
- High Throughput & Grid Computing
Current Projects
- Views in P2P: ViP2P is a fully functional Java-based platform for the efficient, scalable management of XML documents in structured peer-to-peer networks based on distributed hash table (DHT) indices. I am working on the ViP2P project since November 2009. I am mainly working on LiquidXML. LiquidXML's main feature is to automatically select and continuously adapt the set of materialized views on each peer, to improve query processing performance both for the view holding peer, and for the other network peers.
- Visualizing the Dynamics of e-Science Social Networks: This project aims to achieve scalable interactive, visual exploration of the spatio-temporal structure of data‐access and data sharing in e-Science social networks. I am working on this project since January 2010 (part time).
Past Projects
- Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE-III), May '08 - August '09
- Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE-II), April '06 - April '08
